So there have been a flurry of advancements since January of 2024 that put me in greater confidence that this can be something that gets packaged up and shipped.
Besides the technical achievements and problems being solved, AI is coming in to help, and will only be more helpful as time goes on.
Having the String Interpolation really showing the potential of the new binding is a bright spot. 
I don't know about the timeline, but more invested now than I have been, and so I don't see giving up on it.
